I want to know if there is anyone out there still using film??

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller???

In Australia, there is probably only a few places (all rural) left that still use Wet Film Radiography.

That said, there are many private clinics and hospitals that continue to print hard copy filming of XR, CT, MR etc etc even if the images are acquired using CR OR DR!

This is often due to orthopaedic surgeons preferring films, to old-school doctors who still can’t make the change and want something physical in their hands.

I personally can say that my only experience with wet filming was during our first week of the course EVER and an introduction of the ‘art’ of radiography.

My year was the last year to experience it at uni!
